Padre Pio, also known as Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, was an Italian Capuchin priest and mystic. He lived a life of deep prayer (his favorite advice to give was “Pray, Hope, and Don’t Worry) and his closeness to God was evident in his receiving the stigmata. His feast day is September 23.
