Prayer to St. Vincent de Paul
O glorious St. Vincent, heavenly patron of charitable societies and spiritual father of those in misery, while on earth you extended a kindly hand to the needy. Through your merciful intercession, obtain help for the destitute, relief for the abandoned, solace for the unfortunate, comfort for the sick and the grace of preaching the Gospel to the poor.
May your example of charity encourage priests to work for the salvation of all souls that the love of Christ may be known to all people. We ask ths through Chirst our Lord. Amen.
