Description 

Enthrone the Christ Child into your home and life today with this beautiful handmade vestment for a statue of the Infant of Prague. These vestments are Made in America and handcrafted by a local seamstress.

Devotion to the Child Jesus is a long-standing tradition in the Catholic faith. To this day, Carmelite Sisters dress the original Infant of Prague statue in ornate robes, as a way to emphasize his real humanity. The robes themselves indicate his priestly, and royal majesty.

This handmade vestment will perfectly adorn a 16” Infant of Prague statue. This vestment fits the 24-inch Infant of Prague Statue with Plaster Crown and 24-Inch Infant of Prague Statue with Gold Crown. The vestment is available in a variety of colors, representing the different liturgical seasons. Made of brocade satin fabric with a raised rose pattern and delicate lace and metallic trim.

This is the Infant of Prague VESTMENT ONLY. Statues are sold separately.

All vestments are hand-made locally. Some minor differences in detailing may occur. 

Vestments are designed to fit the line of statues we sell. Although they fit many other statues, we cannot guarantee fit. 

For older statues

Please measure from the toe to top of the statues head, not including crown, and use the following guide:

19 inches - 24” Vestment

14 inches - 16" Vestment

10 inches - 12" Vestment

7 inches - 8" Vestment

I want to know did you measure from the neck down to the feet or how did you know what size of outfit to get?  I need to know as I promised the Baby (Infant of Prague) a couple of outfits and  I just hope I measure it right.     Any help from you would be appreciated.  Jessie

I orderd the 24" green vestment for my Mom's Infant of Prague.  It is BEAUTIFUL!  She passed away in March and her wish was for the statue to go to her church.  I had been looking for 7 months locally as the vestment was out of stock every where.  At church, you have to have all the vestments for the seasons. The garment arrived within days of ordering.  It was hand made of a dark green brocade satin material, several layers of lace all around it, and a attached hood that stands behind it's crown.  The craftmanship was perfect.  After I dressed the statue I stood and cried at how BEAUTIFUL it is, knowing I have to take it and all it's outfits to her church where it will be loved and honored for many years to come.
