"Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)
Agnus Dei, Latin for the Lamb of God, is a title of Jesus found in the Gospel of John and referred to in other places in scripture. It refers to Jesus being the perfect, unblemished sacrifice which was offered to God on behalf of mankind.
This oxidized medal features a traditional depiction of the Agnus Dei holding a banner with a cross. The link at the top allows for it to be easily attached to a necklace, scapular, or rosary.
