As a boy, St. John Bosco drew the attention of the other young children with magic tricks and juggling, and then inviting them to pray and learn about God. After he was ordained, he continued to minister to children, especially troubled boys, through teaching, prayer, and play. He founded the Salesian order that continues to serve young people all over the world today. John Bosco’s feast day is January 31.
