Description

Saint Kateri Tekakwitha was the first Native American canonized by the Church. Kateri was born into Mohawk village where she lived until after her conversion to Catholicism. Kateri was very devout and took a vow of chastity, promising to only marry Jesus.

This full-color, laminated card features a image of St. Kateri in traditional native clothing and holding a cross close to her heart. On the back of this card, you will find a beautiful prayer to the Lily of the Mohawks, asking for her intercession and help on our own journey of faith.

Available in singles or packs of 25!

Prayer on Back:

Dear Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, favored child and Lily of the Mohawks, I come to seek your intercession in my present need: (mention it). I admire your virtues of love of God and neighbor, humility, obedience, patience, purity, and the spirit of sacrifice.

Help me to imitate your example in my state of life. Through the goodness and mercy of God, who blessed you with so many graces, please pray for me and help me.

Dear Saint Kateri, please obtain for me a very fervent devotion to the Holy Eucharist. Teach me also to be devoted to my crucified Savior, that I may cheerfully bear my daily crosses for love of Him who suffered so much for love of me. Amen.
