Saint Therese of Lisieux, also known as the Little Flower, is perhaps one of the most well-known and beloved saints in the Catholic Church despite living a cloistered life of obscurity in the Carmelite convent of Lisieux, France. Her autobiography, The Story of a Soul, is read and loved throughout the world.
Her writings on spirituality and “the Little Way” lead to her being named a Doctor of the Church. Her feast day is October 1.
