When the Blessed Mother appeared to Saint Catherine Laboure in 1830, she gave Catherine the design for a medal that brought with it a multitude of graces for those who wear it devoutly. This medal became known as the Miraculous Medal and is still one of the most popular Catholic devotions.
This Miraculous Medal is imported from Italy and includes blue enamel highlights. It comes packaged in a gift box on an 18-inch stainless steel chain. It features the original design given by Our Lady to St. Catherine with an inscription that reads: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."
