Description

“I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me” (John 10: 27).

Jesus Christ, our loving Shepherd, will go through great lengths to find and return the lost sheep to the fold. When the sheep is found, He carries it back on his shoulders rejoicing. The parable of the Good Shepherd reminds us of God’s love and concern for sinners, and the joy a repentant heart brings.

A sincerely prayed Act of Contrition, particularly in the Sacrament of Confession, restores a soul’s relationship with God that had been damaged by sin.

This laminated prayer card features a beautiful depiction of Christ as the Good Shepherd and a prayer on the back that can be used both sacramentally and for private devotion. It is available as singles or in packs of 25. Made in Italy.

PRAYER ON BACK:

O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

I went to a Catholic School for 4 years. I didn't like it because all my friends went to public schools in our town. I went out of town. But now I feel blessed because I remember some prayers. Now at 66 I feel that I really want and need them. The Lord's prayer is number one in my book. 10 STARS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
