Because of your holiness you were chosen for a wonderful task . Our Blessed Mother showed you the medal of the Immaculate Conception which is now known as the “Miraculous Medal” and commissioned you to have it made and to spread devotion to this medal promising that all who wore it with devotion should receive great graces by the intercession of the Mother of God.
Our Blessed Mother pointed out to you the altar as your source of all consolation. O Glorious Saint, assist me to be drawn to the altar to ease my burden in my time of need. O Mary conceived free of sin pray for us who turn to thee. Lord our God, Who granted unto St. Catherine a vision of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Thy Mother, we ask Thee after the example of blessed Catherine for a tender devotion to Thy holy Mother that we may enjoy the grace of eternal life.
